The game

Padel is played in doubles on a court about a third the size of a tennis court, enclosed by glass walls that stay in play. Rallies last longer, the learning curve is gentle, and four friends of mixed levels can enjoy a proper game in their first hour.

The walls are in play
Let the ball come off the glass and play it back. Using the walls is where the long, fun rallies come from.
Serve underarm
Bounce the ball and serve below the waist, diagonally into the box. It is an easy start for new players.
Score like tennis
15, 30, 40, game. Six games win a set. If you know tennis scoring, you already know padel.
